We had a much needed 4 day weekend and spent it in CA. We got to go to the 125Year Celebration of the Santa Fe Railroad in San Bernardino. The kids had a blast. They got to sit in the engine of a train and see all kinds of cool stuff from "way back when."

The Emma Awards
Young Women in Excellence this year was a night at the "Emma Awards." I was in charge of the decorations and our whole presidency really pulled off a fabulous night for the girls.

Candy, Candy, and MORE Candy!
We totally scored on candy this Halloween. This was all the candy piled together(actually after I took the picture I found another trick or treat bag about half full). What's funny is, my kids aren't big candy eaters. I'm sure this will be around for awhile or at least till I throw it away.

Trunk or Treat!
The Stake had a huge Trunk or Treat. Rex as "Clark Kent" was a hit! Jilly was a spider, and little kids kept coming up to her and touching her to see if see was part of the decorations. Everyone had a blast!

Halloween Party 2010
We had an awesome Halloween party again this year. Thanks so much to Allison W. for opening up your home. We love coming up with fun costumes and silly games to play. Good food and of course the "Blood Bar".

Double Digit Birthday!
Yes, Elena turned the big 1 - 0. Where has the last 10 years gone. She is turning into a beautiful young woman. She is a joy to have in our family and is loved tremendously by her little sister and usually by her brothers. We love you Elena!

Gilcrease Pumpkin Patch
The Pumpkin Patch was awesome this year. Tons of beautiful big pumpkins. Everything was green and it was a gorgeous day here in Vegas. We got some really cool pumpkins. I like the ones that are a little less than perfect. Weird shapes and sizes! The kids had a blast! These were the final picks. I think we will go back again before the season is over.
