We just got home from spending almost 2 weeks in Lake Tahoe. We love it there and try to go every year and stay at Ben's grandparent's cabin. This year we planned a family reunion with my side of the family up there. We rented a 2nd house and had 44 people total. 7 of the 10 siblings were there. We were only missing Shauna and Alysha's families and Matthew. It was a lot of fun. Mark was the only one that got a total group shot so we will have to wait and see when he sends that.
We were about 20 min. from the house and Noah HAD to go Pee! Here he is behind a boulder
Elena was a big help. She even put Jill to sleep the first day.
Grandpa and Grandma came up on Sunday for Father's Day. The boys had so much fun playing with Grandpa.
We couldn't miss a trip to Rubbing Rock Beach. All Rex wanted to do the whole trip was throw things in the Lake. We love this beach, it is only minutes from the house and is covered with smooth rocks.Ehrman Mansion
We made a trip out to the Ehrman Mansion and really enjoyed walking along the shoreline, in front of the house.
Mini Golf
Sand Harbor
Our most favorite beach is Sand Harbor. It is a sandy beach within the boulder fields. The water is crystal clear and extremely cold, but has yet to stop everyone from playing in it. You can walk out waist high for several hundred feet and climb the huge boulders. We love Sand Harbor.
Emerald Bay and Eagle Falls
On Friday everyone had arrived so we took a trip out to Emerald Bay to hike the falls. It may be one of the most beautiful spots in the world. After the hike down the mountain you follow a trail back up the waterfall. Little did we know the trail ends about half way up. That didn't stop Ben. He told everyone he was going to take them straight up. So off they went up the boulders, helping hoist each other up the mountain. Unfortunately I got the lame task of taking Jill back up the switchbacks to the top. Still it was a wonderful day.
There is still so much more. I will make another post soon. We had a great time and can't wait to go back next year.

Oh how we miss Tahoe!!! Glad you guys had so much fun. Your family is adorable.
We sure missed you for the 4th of July this year at Grandpa and Grandma's pool. Catch ya next year!
The best part of that trip was the hike to the waterfall and then hiking up the rocks. Thanks for planning out where we were going. We loved it. All except for the Urgent Care day.
