Just wanted to wish my cute hubby a happy belated birthday! Yesterday was the big day and we literally passed each other in the hallway on my way out the door. Sorry sweetie. Being born on St. Patrick's day did make you one lucky fellow, hint you married me. Actually I am the one that seriously lucked out, because you are a totally awesome husband and Dad. Happy Birthday!!!

Yes, I'm a Mom
You know you're a mom when as you're walking out the door your baby spits up on you and you clean it up the best you can, only to realize you still smell like throw-up. As you pass the laundry room you spray Febreze on yourself instead of changing your clothes because you have to leave. Yes, I Febrezed myself!

My Baby's 1!

Jilly is a sweet girl with a mind all her own. She has changed so much from that little angel of a baby to a big girl that walks, and eats big people food, loves to wrestle(and will win!) and dance. She thinks being upside down is awesome and we believe she maybe part puppy! Her favorite things to do are play in the trashcan and the toilet(totally disgusting), eat paper and shoes, and she has a weird fascination with licking hair. Yes, I said lick! Mostly boys hair. It must be the short hair that feels interesting in her mouth. She is loved tremendously by her sister and brothers. Elena thinks she is her own personal live doll. Noah is gentle and caring to her. And Rex, well the best way to describe the way Rex loves Jill is HARD! She can take it all without flinching. We love you Bits, Beans, Ninja, Chicken wing, Bibba, Jilly, Pinkle, whatever you may be called. You will always be our little lady!
Last night we went to Rainforest Cafe and I think Jill really wanted that volcano sundae.

A Night Away
I have no pictures of my wonderful night away but I had to at least give a huge shoutout to my most wonderful husband in the whole freakin' world. It all started with a surprise Christmas present of tickets to see "The Lion King." Then he got us reservations to Border Grill at Mandalay Bay and a relaxing overnight stay at the MGM Grand. You all might think that sounds nice, however you have no idea how much needed this was for the two of us. You see we haven't spent a night away from our kids since Noah was about 18 months old. Yes, almost 6 years since we have been alone. Now if you ask Elena, she will tell you we had 3 years of vacation alone and that should have been enough.(before she was born) The show was amazing and everyone should get a chance to go see it. The food was awesome. The sleep was heavenly. The best part was my wonderful brother came out to watch the kids with his fiance, Wendy, which meant I didn't worry the whole time. Ok, I worried a little! Matthew and Wendy you are fabulous. Most of all "I love you Babe, you are the best sweetest husband ever."

Happy Birthday Rex!
1 Year Old
(he spent his first birthday in the hospital with pnemonia)

4 Years Old
Each of these pictures totally represent the kind of kid he has always been. Happy even in the hospital. Loving and caring to everyone. A total rock star and the life of the party. Or just the wild crazy little boy in a tree. Rex has always been a spitfire and we love him for it.Posted by Fausett Family at 9:46 AM 8 comments

Where does the time go!
The last 6 weeks have gone by so quick. I felt like each week was shorter and shorter. I think I sat down many times to make a quick post only to get pulled away by something more important. We did go to a Christmas party, school parties, decorated cookies, made a gingerbread house, saw the lights, and many other things. New Years Eve we spent with a wonderful group of friends and we counted down at about 7:45pm. The kids didn't know any better and were excited to bang pots and pans and let off fireworks. The next night we got to go out with just adults and it was awesome to have some time just for the two of us. During all the craziness of Christmas, Ben was made the Elder's Quorum Pres. and I was put into be the 1st counselor in Young Womens. So anyways these pictures are mostly from our wonderful holiday season.

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve with Ben's parents and the Haugh's. Elena and Makena did a great program for us that night. Notice Noah and Rex are really enjoying it.

Just the other night I had Jilly in the bath and Rex wanted to join her so I let him get in. They loved splashing each other and it reminded me that I have baby pictures of all my other kids in the tub, but have never taken any of Jill. (The poor forgotten 4th child) So I whipped out the camera and got some cute ones.
